For Teachers New to Weblogs: An Introduction to Blogging (ver 2.0)
Wednesday, I'll be part of a workshop here at GVSU for teachers interested in using weblogs. For a handout, I decided to revise the "For Teachers New to Weblogs: An Introduction to Blogging" created by the CCCC Blogging SIG during September 2005.
Here is For Teachers New to Weblogs: An Introduction to Blogging (ver 2.0). There are some significant changes from the original version.
New Blogging with Drupal Experience
D'Arcy notes that it has been one month since he's switched over from WordPress 2 to Drupal 4.7 and he's very happy with the change. In comparing the two applications, he writes,
I'd recommend WordPress for new bloggers, but I'd wholeheartedly recommend Drupal for people that want to take advantage of some of the more flexible content management stuff available in a higher-end app. Not a shot against WordPress at all - the two platforms serve slightly different (and complementary) roles.

From Drupal "Blog this" bookmarklet | Irregular Shed:

Only one of them worked for me (I'm using Firefox, as any sensible PC user uses) but I could tell it had been hacked from something else. Well, I took it upon myself to rehack it a bit, to make it more useful for me, and I share the results here for you...
Del.icio.us Fusion for Drupal
One day, looks like I'll have to get around to playing some with del.icio.us now that czarism.com notes that Benjamin Grant's del.icio.us module for Drupal is working very well.
