Primary research is an integral part of many of my writing classes, both first year writing and professional writing. In the past I have had students read Ben Rafoth's "Interviewing" from The Subject Is Writing, Wendy Bishop (ed.), and the Purdue OWL Interviewing. I plan to continue to use those texts, but My 22 Best On-Camera Interviewing Tips Ever will be a good supplement, or even a substitute when interviewing as primary research is not an important focus of the course.
